Check out ATEN's latest enterprise KVM solutions at Hall 15, Booth C-37

Taipei - March 1, 2004 - ATEN International Co. Ltd., a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of advanced connectivity solutions for the IT industry, announced today its participation in the 2004 CeBIT Exhibition in Hannover, Germany ( Hall 15, Booth C-37 ) from March 18th through the 24th. The hardware specialist will be showcasing its complete line of connectivity solutions, targeting both the end user and the enterprise markets.

ATEN will be demonstrating various products from its KVM switches and video splitters to data communication and USB / FireWire solutions all week long. During this year's CeBIT Exhibition, ATEN will be headlining two new products, the CN-6000 KVM on the Netâ„¢ and the KM0432
Matrix KVM Switch.Visitors to the booth can experience their efficiency when managing server installations, as well as the incredible flexibility permitted the administrator.

" With 20 years of KVM switch expertise, we have earned around 60% of the entry to medium level KVM switch market share. While continuing to develop the most advanced connectivity products for our customers, we have also developed a handful of top level MIS super administrative products. These products, namely the CN-6000 and the KM0432, are further strengthening our leadership role within the connectivity industry,"commented Michael Yang, Associate Vice President for ATEN International.

As the demand for dependable remote access to servers and KVM installations steadily increases, ATEN's CN-6000 remote server management is bridging this gap by saving time, reducing travel costs, and ensuring 100% uptime. The CN-6000's browser-based client software works with all operating platforms and allows the user to connect from anywhere on the Internet. Occupying zero units ( 0U ) and mounting on either side or the rear of the rack, the CN-6000 is more compact than any model of its kind, generating more rack space and increasing the potential of any server room.

Within the server room, KM0432 represents the most practical method for controlling large numbers of servers. Four users can directly control 32 computers and efficiently manage 512 computers simultaneously over the same administrative segment, while also permitting 4 super administrators the ability to share this control and the ability to float between each branch of 512 computers. At total capacity, the KM0432 supports up to 4096 computers and supports multiple platforms ( PC, Mac, Sun and Linux ) using CAT5 to PS/2 and CAT5 to USB adapter cables.

At the end of last year, ATEN launched its breakthrough CS-1732 / 1734 USB KVMP Switches. While targeting the SOHO market, ATEN received a flurry of positive feedback from the European market. This year's CeBIT will also see ATEN displaying and demonstrating its advanced model, the CS-1754 / 1758 4 and 8 Port USB KVMP Switches for the enterprise market.
About the KVM Switch

KVM (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) switches are control units that allow access to multiple computers from a single console. Before the development of KVM switches, the only way to control multiple computers from a single console was through a complex and costly network. Now, with the KVM switch, people can easily access multiple computers or platforms (from 2 to up to 4096) in a convenient, space saving and cost effective manner.
