One single KH88 console allows the control up to 8 computers; and when cascaded to 3 levels, the administrator will control up to 512 computers. With a two-level (administrator/user) password authorization the new 8 port PS/2 KVM switch meets the required standards of enhanced security protection (PSP). Thanks to its adjustable front panel, the KH88 can be easily installed from the front or from rear side of the rack and therefore fits any rack depth in any server room. Altogether these features provide professional users with high flexibility and superior security when controlling a large number of computers.

ATEN's innovative 8 port KVM Switch supports the operating systems Windows 98SE and higher, Linux, AIX, FreeBSD and Netware. The computer selection is made simple through front panel switches, an intuitive On-Screen Display (OSD) and Hotkeys. Error free booting is guaranteed through complete keyboard emulation, and superior video quality is assured utilizing resolutions of up to 2048 x 1536. Furthermore users can add or remove computers for maintenance without powering down the KVM switch which saves time and provides enhanced functionality at the same time.


Setting up the KH88 is fast and easy and no additional software is required. Each KH88 package includes upgradable firmware, one power adapter and rack mounting kit.
