TAIPEI, TAIWAN - May 23, 2005 - ATEN International
Co. Ltd., a leading designer, manufacturer
and distributor of advanced connectivity
solutions, today announced that it will
be unveiling a new generation of server
room management solutions by demonstrating
the ALTUSEN series IP-based products, the
new Dual Console Slideaway LCD KVM Switch,
and new products that integrates the IPMI
(Intelligent Platform Management Interface)
technology at the Computex tradeshow from
May 31st to June 4th. ( Booth Number: Hall

ATEN
first demonstrated its ALTUSEN series IP-based
server room management solutions during
CeBIT 2005, where it not only received positive
feedback from customers, but also gained
recognition from its European distributors.
As a result, ATEN will continue to demonstrate
its IP-based series solutions at Computex,
including the 16-port KN9116 KVM over the
NET, the 8/16-port SN0108/SN0116 Serial
over the NET and the 8-port PN9108 Power
over the NET. ATEN will also launch its
8/16-port Dual Console Slideaway LCD KVM
Switch - CL1208/CL1216 and new products
that integrate the IPMI technology at Computex
to highlight ATEN's continual emphasis on
innovation and R&D capabilities.

"
ATEN has continuously focused on providing
global clients with the most optimized server
management solutions," said Jackie
Chang, Manager of Marketing and Promotion
Department, ATEN International. " Facing
the high demands of the global corporations
on remote server room management technology,
we will continue to place the focus on ALTUSEN
IP-based remote server room management series
solutions during Computex. We hope that
our customers can thoroughly experience
ATEN's competitive advantages in remote
server room management technology at this
international tradeshow."
" In order to provide a variety of
server room management choices to the international
buyers, we will also demonstrate for the
first time ATEN's Dual Console Slideaway
LCD KVM Switch and innovative products that
integrates the IPMI technology," said
Chang. " With the increase in complexity
of corporate information structures, the
ability to provide flexible and convenient
solutions will be the market's mainstream
choice. As a result, we are continuously
assisting corporations in simplifying their
server room management to enhance the corporations'
performance. The new Dual Console Slideaway
LCD KVM Switch will be an important addition
to ATEN's blueprint for a new generation
of server management solutions. In addition,
since IPMI technology uses a modulized design,
it can use the Internet or sequence modems
to proceed with remote server management,
and can be used in the IKVM. We believe
the application of IPMI technology will
be an important trend in future market development."

At
this year's Computex booth, ATEN will create
a virtual environment for remote server
room management to demonstrate the use of
ALTUSEN IP-based series products, allowing
visitors to experience the advantages and
performances of remote management. Apart
from providing a complete line of enterprise
KVM solutions, ATEN will also demonstrate
a series of connectivity solutions, including
innovative SOHO KVM switches, video solutions,
USB / Firewire products, and industrial
cards.
