Taipei, Taiwan, November
28th, 2006. ATEN International, leading
designer, manufacturer and distributor
of cutting-edge connectivity solutions
today announced a further completion of
its ALTUSEN Over the NET™; product
line with the introduction of the CC1000
Control Center Over the NET™. CC1000
is a software-based solution for the secured
and centralized management of entire IT
infrastructure in multiple data centers,
branch offices and remote locations. It
is designed for IT administrators to
effectively
consolidate the management of all the Over
the NET™;
and other IP-based IT devices through a
single IP address.
"The continuance of business processes
is most crucial for today's enterprises.
Therefore, they have to ensure that their
IT systems - especially their mission critical
equipment and network data - are safe and
can effectively be managed." says
Kevin Chen, President of ATEN International.
" ATEN's software solution CC1000
Control Center Over the NET™ provides administrators
with a convenient and flexible tool for
consolidating the management of all servers
and network equipment in their local and
remote data centers. Thus, they can meet
the needs of their IT infrastructure at
anytime from anywhere in the world."
The browser-based GUI in CC1000 has an
intuitive tree structure and allows users
to conveniently access, control, configure
and administrate their entire network equipment
from a single IP address.
The CC1000 features tight security procedures,
including Role-Based Access and Control
(RBAC), IP-based Access Control Lists and
IP filtering, of which enables administrators
to regulate user access and control down
to the port level. Not only the administrators
can monitor and manage the active user
sessions and ports in real time, but also
define permission-based groupings and device
views. Furthermore, the CC1000 provides
128-bit SSL encryption, user name and password
authentication, flexible session time-outs
and password expirations, and includes
multi-layer security features that allow
the integration of existing external authentication
tools, such as Active Directory.
As high-availability and zero data loss
are crucial for distributed network environments,
the CC1000 not only offers health updates,
alarms and an array of flexible logging
and reporting options with audit trails
for diagnostics and troubleshooting to
help users to identify potential problems,
but integrates an on-board authentication
server which provides failover in the event
of external server or network problems,
and offers Syslog and SNMP (Simple Network
Management Protocol) integration to minimize
the recovery time.
The CC1000 is an extraordinary flexible
and scalable solution. With its various
license options (3, 5 or 10 user account
licensing) it is open for different needs
and can be easily increased if the company's
conditions change. It is also able to handle
different user access levels and to grow
with the network of the customer. It is
open for managing multi-user access to
hundreds of ALTUSEN appliances and thousands
of network devices what makes the CC1000
a very cost-effective, adaptable solution
for expanding enterprises. |
