ATEN International, leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of advanced connectivity solutions, today announced that it will unveil trendsetting innovations in KVM switch technology at this year's CeBIT trade show in Hanover (15 -- 21 March 2007). As the leading KVM manufacturer worldwide with solutions from the entry-level for SOHO users, to rackmount devices for rack systems, and corporate grade solutions for enterprises -- ATEN will not only showcase cutting-edge audio KVM switches, but demonstrate revolutionary new Cat5 KVM devices, IP-based products and video solutions at its booth (Hall 15, Booth E11).
As a world premier, ATEN presents two new lines of cable KVM switches of its PETITE product series at CeBIT 2007. The CS62D 2-Port PS/2 DVI KVM Switch and the CS62DU 2-Port USB DVI KVM Switch offer DVI compliance and audio support. As second line the connectivity specialist introduces the three new Hybrid KVM Switch models CS52 2-Port Hybrid KVM Switch, CS52A 2-Port Hybrid KVM Switch w/ Audio (cables included) and CS52D 2-Port Hybrid DVI KVM Switch w/ Audio (cables included). They support consoles with PS/2 monitors and USB mice to control two computers.
ATEN's exhibition presentation will focus on the introduction and demonstration of innovative product highlights. Besides the product displays the booth will house three live demo sections to demonstrate the functionality of the connectivity specialist's Cat5 KVM, Over the NET and DVI Video Solutions. The demo centers will include the following product innovations:
Live Demo "Cat5 KVM Solutions"
KH1516 16-Port High-Density KVM Switch: allows administrators to directly control up to 16 multiplatform computers (any combination of PC, Mac, Sun, serial devices) from a single KVM console, and features RJ-45 connectors and Cat5 cable to link the computers.
KM0832 8-Console, 32-Port Matrix KVM Switch: enables users to independently and simultaneously control up to 32 multiplatform servers (any combination of PC, Mac, Sun, serial devices) from eight consoles. Improved features allow cascading up to three KM0832 units and daisy chaining up to seven additional KM0432 (4-Console, 32-Port Matrix KVM Switch) or KM0216 (2-Console, 16-Port Matrix KVM Switch) devices.

KL9116 16-Port Dual Slide LCD KVM Over IP Switch: incorporates a 16-port KVM switch in a Hideaway console with 17" high-resolution LCD monitor, keyboard and touchpad. One remote (via LAN, WAN, or Internet) and two local users can control up to 16 servers. KL9116 features the innovative dual-slide design allowing monitor and console to slide independently.
Live Demo "Over the NET Solutions"
CC1000 Control Center Over the NET: a software-based solution for the secured and centralized management of entire IT infrastructure in multiple data centers, branch offices and remote locations. It is designed for IT administrators to effectively consolidate the management of all the Over the NET and other IP-based IT devices through a single IP address. With the included Java version CC1000 ensures access from mosst major operating platforms.
KL3116 16-Port Dual Slide LCD KVMP Switch: incorporates a 16-port KVM switch in a Hideaway console with 17'' high-resolution LCD monitor, keyboard and touchpad. The device features dual-slide capability for the monitor and console to slide independently, and supports USB peripherals.
Live Demo "DVI Video Solutions"
VS261 2-Port DVI Video Switch: allows users to share DVI-capable displays, e.g. plasma TVs, LCDs or projectors, with digital devices such as computers, DVD players or set top boxes.
VE600 DVI Video Extender: is a connectivity device with which computers or KVM installations can be accessed from a remote console (keyboard, monitor, and mouse). VE600 extends DVI and audio signals up to 50 meters with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7 cables providing for an excellent video resolution of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels at 60Hz (PC) and 1080i (HDTV).
VC160 DVI to VGA Converter: is a small but powerful solution that connects VGA-based video devices to DVI digital monitors, projectors, etc. With the help of pushbuttons users can conveniently save and select user-defined picture adjustment presets.
Besides these live demo centers, ATEN will showcase a wide range of its products at CeBIT 2007. Amongst many others, KH1516 -- "in action" at the live demo "Cat5 KVM Solution" -- and the 8-port version KH1508, solutions especially designed for growing small and medium-sized businesses, will be displayed. Furthermore, visitors can have a look at ATEN's comprehensive line of DVI-compatible video switches and video splitters, the brand-new 2-port HDTV A/V switch VS231 and the 4-port version VS431 both being compatible with high-definition monitors or projectors. Another new video solution presented at the trade show will be the 4-port HDMI switch VS481. This cutting-edge device integrates the HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) technology and offers four ports, thus allowing users to quickly and easily share their HDMI display devices with up to four HDMI input sources, such as DVD players, satellite receivers or digital camcorders. A remote control unit and pushbuttons located on the switch are available for selecting the desired input source.
